Anne-Marie’s fashion bond with Tom Jones

Anne-Marie has bonded with Sir Tom Jones over shoes.
The legendary singer was so impressed with his ‘The Voice UK’ co-star Anne-Marie’s furry sliders that she bought him a pair of his own for Christmas and Anne-Marie joked they are now “best friends”.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I love him so much. I actually bought him a pair of sliders for Christmas because he kept complimenting mine and now he wears them all the time. I’m claiming that we’re like best friends.
“They’re furry, they’ve got a platform on them and he says he loves them because they make him look taller. They’re green with a tartan pattern.”
Anne-Marie joined ‘The Voice’ in January to replace Meghan Trainor, who recently had her first child, and says it was a “blessing” after being in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Anne-Marie explained: “It’s been a blessing in disguise. I don’t think I realised how much this would be helping my mental health by doing this show. It’s been mad.
“It’s been perfect for what we’re going through at the moment. I’ve been lucky enough to actually be around live music, unlike everyone else.”
