Anne Hathaway intimidated by kids' parties

ICONINSIDER — Anne Hathaway was intimidated when she researched first birthday party ideas online.
The ‘Colossal’ actress and her husband Adam Shulman threw a rainbow-themed bash in honour of their son Jonathan turning one last month but she admits she instantly regretted looking on website Pinterest for inspiration because she saw some amazing-looking celebrations which other people had hosted.
She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “We tried to keep it pretty low-key. We kept the theme just rainbows, which is a fun theme because it’s hard to go wrong with it.
“But I made the mistake — I went on Pinterest and looked at other people’s one year old parties. It’s not fair what some people do. You know, some party planners have children, which is definitely not fair. Think about it. They blow it out!”
Anne was pregnant when she was making the movie, and though her condition sometimes made working “hard”, she doesn’t actually remember a great deal about being on set.
She said: “I’m really lucky I said yes to the movie before I was pregnant and I memorised my lines early. There were some days it was hard.”
And when her co-star Jason Sudeikis teased her about childbirth being easy, she replied: “You’re so lucky I don’t remember anything from making the movie because I was pregnant.”
The 34-year-old beauty recently admitted she had mistaken her stunt double’s butt for her own the first time she watched the film.
She said: “It’s funny because your body changes when you’re pregnant. And it was my first pregnancy so I didn’t know what was going on.
“There’s a shot in the movie when I saw it and I was like ‘oh see, I kept my butt in great shape’. And the second time I watched the movie I realised it was her [the stunt double].”
