Dancing on Ice’s studio is haunted by ghosts

ICONINSIDER — Dancing on Ice’s new studio is rumoured to be haunted by a creepy presence.
The rebooted skating show – which returned to screens three weeks ago after being off air for three years – is now based at Bovingdon Airfield in Hemel Hempstead, but bosses may be forced to find a different location as soon as possible as it’s believed the area, which is home to a number of derelict buildings, is occupied by ghosts.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: It’s likely many of the contestants and professional skaters have no idea they are performing somewhere that’s rumoured to be haunted. If the claims are to believed there’s a good chance something could happen during rehearsals or even while the show is on air.”
So many unexplained incidences have taken place there that the International Paranormal Society have been in to investigate in the past and they are convinced the area is being haunted by the ghosts of US airmen who were stationed there.
A source explained: “The mist has been seen by several people. They say it suddenly appears and is so thick you can’t see through it.
“One person is rumoured to have seen it late at night on the runway. Some friends were waiting in a car six metres away and they said it followed him. It was engulfing him.
“In another incident, one driver saw another vehicle get engulfed in the mist. ”
And it’s not just people who have been affected by the ghostly goings on as dog walkers have claimed a “presence” has been making their animals howl and try to escape.
Other people have heard the sounds of an aircraft and Morse Code, while others believe they have experienced a strange smell of bubblegum in the area.
