Bindi Irwin’s motherhood journey to become TV special

VacationHunter — Bindi Irwin’s road to motherhood will be detailed in a new television special titled ‘Crikey! It’s a Baby’.
The 22-year-old conservationist and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, into the world on March 25, which was also the same day as their first wedding anniversary.
And it has now been confirmed the couple’s journey through their pregnancy and the eventual birth of their daughter will be chronicled in a special spin-off of ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’, which will air on April 25.
The show will also detail how Bindi’s mother, Terri Irwin, and her brother Robert reacted to the baby news, as well as how they supported her through the journey.
The special features poignant and intimate moments leading up to the birth of Bindi and Chandler’s daughter, and viewers will get to meet Grace for the first time when the programme airs exclusively on Discovery Plus.
Bindi announced she had given birth on Instagram on Friday (26.03.21) with a sweet picture of herself and Chandler holding baby Grace.
She wrote: “March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter. Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.
“Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad (sic).”
Bindi continued: “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
