Lucy Alexander’s mother has died

Lucy Alexander’s mother has passed away.
The 48-year-old television presenter announced the sad news on social media on Tuesday (04.02.20), as she revealed her mother had lost her battle with cancer.
She wrote on Twitter: “My mum sadly passed away last night.
“She battled cancer to the end.
“I’ve lost my mate –
“She was my everything.
“RIP Mum
“I’m waiting for your signs (sic)”
The news comes after the former ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ took to social media over the weekend to announce she was taking a “break” from social media to “care” for “someone [she] loves”.
She said at the time: “I’ve not been posting recently & ive decided to take a break from all social media as it just feels right whilst caring for someone I love. (sic)”
Lucy didn’t confirm if she was talking about her mother.
Fellow stars have already taken to social media to offer their condolences to the presenter, including former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant Emily Atack.
The actress wrote: “Lucy! Sending love x. (sic)”
And Emily’s mother Kate Robbins also wrote: “So sorry to hear this ,Lucy. Lots of love. (sic)”
‘Good Morning Britain’ host Charlotte Hawkins added: “So very sorry to hear that Lucy – sending love. (sic)”
Whilst fans have also sent their well wishes to Lucy following the sad news.
One wrote: “So very sorry to hear this Lucy. My thoughts are with you.”
Whilst another added: “Oh Lucy! My thoughts and prayers are with you. And I know I won’t be the only one thinking of you!”
And a third commented: “Sorry to hear this, my sincerest condolences to you and your family.”
