Frankie Grande postpones UK gig after terror attack

ICONINSIDER — Frankie Grande has postponed his gig in London after his half-sister Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester was targeted by a suicide bomber earlier this week.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star was scheduled to perform at Bush Hall in the English capital on Saturday (27.05.17) night but has decided to cancel the show and remain in the US in order to support his family “during this difficult time.”
He said: “Out of respect for those affected by the disaster in Manchester and my need to be with family during this difficult time I have decided to postpone my show for a later date. For now, let’s focus on keeping the world strong and filling it with light and love.”
The 34-year-old eccentric star’s decision to cancel his show comes just five days after 22 people, many of whom were children, tragically lost their lives and more than 50 were critically injured after they were caught up in an explosion let off by a terrorist as they left the ‘Problem’ hitmaker’s concert at Manchester Arena on Monday (22.05.17).
After the incident, Ariana, 23, flew back to Florida to be with her family and has since indefinitely suspended her world tour in order to pay respect to the victims.
The brunette beauty admitted at the time that she was “broken” by the tragedy.
She said: “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Frankie made a name for himself in the UK in 2016 when he joined the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house alongside Stephen Bear, Renee Graziano and Chloe Khan.
The blonde performer proved such a hit with British viewers that he finished in sixth place.
