Danny Dyer to appear in People Just Do Nothing

ICONINSIDER — Danny Dyer is set to re-launch his DJ career by appearing in ‘People Just Do Nothing’.
The ‘EastEnders’ star is no stranger to the decks having previously been a DJ in bars and clubs, but he is now set to step into the role once again as he’s been lined up for a cameo role in the upcoming fourth series of the BBC mockumentary – which recently picked up the gong for Best Scripted Comedy at the 2017 TV BAFTAs – which follows the pirate radio station Kurupt FM.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Danny met the boys at the BAFTAs and congratulated them on a deserving win. It has promoted discussions to thank him by giving him a role in the series. Danny’s natural banter would fit in with the lads.”
It is unknown as of yet whether Danny, 39, will have to take time away from Albert Square – where he plays Mick Carter – in order to film his cameo, as it comes just days after audiences saw him return to the soap after taking time off in February.
Danny returned to set in March after taking a well-deserved break in order to spend more time with his family.
A source said upon his return: “Danny has been missed these last few weeks. So it was a welcome sight seeing him drive back into the studios with a cheeky smile on his face. He picked up his scripts for filming a couple of weeks back. The scenes are classic soap, full of emotion and drama.”
Meanwhile, a source previously claimed that the cast and crew of the BBC soap couldn’t wait to have a “refreshed” Danny back on the set.
They said: “Everyone is looking forward to having a refreshed Danny back on the show. He’s a big character on and off the set and his absence was really noticeable. Danny has taken some time out and is raring to go again. He’ll be required for scenes from the start of next week.”
