Alesha Dixon can't have 'real' conversation with BGT judges

ICONINSIDER — Alesha Dixon finds it “quite difficult” to have a “real” conversation with her ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ co-judges.
The 38-year-old singer treasures the rare quiet moments she gets with Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams because the auditions for the show are usually so hectic, they rarely get the chance to speak properly.
She said: “I wouldn’t say I’ve learnt anything new [about the other judges] but I do feel like I’m getting to know them even more.
“To get the opportunity to have a real conversation with one of them is actually quite difficult because from the moment we’re together it’s lights, camera, action.
“There are always so many people around, so it’s rare to get those moments when you can really just get on a level with each other.
“So when we do, I really appreciate those moments, I love asking questions about their lives.
“I love having conversations with them – they have amazing stories to tell and those stories are never old.”
Because the quartet have worked together for so long, Alesha feels they are all able to be more outrageous with their humour now.
She told OK! magazine: “We always pick up from where we left off and it’s been amazing.
“Now we know each other better, we can push the boundaries more with the jokes.”
And Alesha – who has three-year-old daughter Azura with partner Azuka Ononye – enjoys the unpredictability of sitting next to David during the auditions.
She said: “He’s very unpredictable. He makes my day really interesting because you don’t know what he’s going to do or say.”
